Bruce Miller, President
Bruce Miller is a professor of law at Western New England College, where he teaches constitutional law and other public law subjects. His public service work includes serving on the Board of Directors of the Pioneer Valley HIV-AIDS Consortium and the Advisory Board of the Western Massachusetts ACLU. He is also a trustee of the Rosenberg Fund for Children.
Jeanne Herrick-Stare, Treasurer
Jeanne Herrick-Stare serves as Policy Counsel for the Center of Victims of Torture, Washington D.C. office. She served as Senior Fellow for Civil Liberties and Human Rights for the Friends Committee on National Legislation in Washington, D.C. and was a co-founder of the National Religious Campaign Against Torture. She created and maintained www.torturesnotus.net, a resource for information about torture-related issues and developments. She is an attorney, formerly Counsel to the Clerk of Court for the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver.
Nancy Talanian, Secretary
Nancy Talanian is the founder and director of No More Guantánamos. She previously directed the Bill of Rights Defense Committee, which she also founded. She is the treasurer of the board of the Nolumbeka Project, which preserves Northeast native American culture. She previously served on the board of Friends of Wissatinnewag, which formed to preserve an ancient native American sacred site.
Imran Siddiqui
Imran Siddiqui is a Public Interest Scholar at the Western New England College School of Law. He previously served as an intern at the Center for Voter Advocacy, a Miami non-profit organization designed to educate the Muslim-American community and encourage its political engagement. He currently is Founder and President of the WNEC Chapter of the South Asian Law Students Association, where he is in his last year of law school. He has previously served as lead organizer of the 2010 Yale Law School Robert M. Cover Retreat and as a law student intern at the Jerome N. Frank Legal Services Organization at Yale Law School.
