On Wednesday, January 11th, No More Guantanamos and Witness Against Torture invite you to join a stand-out protest in Northampton to mark 21 years of unlawful detention and torture at Guantanamo Bay prison.
The protest will start at noon in front of the Hampshire County Courthouse on Main Street. Bring signs (and instruments if you have them). We plan to walk up and down Main Street. Those with orange jumpsuits will wear them. We will also distribute information on the Guantanamo Survivors Fund, started in 2022, and will collect donations to provide support for former Guantanamo prisoners who have been transferred by the US government and left to fend for themselves.
